Shoutbox wouldn't be too bad.
We used to have one on the old forum, but no one ever used it. We might add one later but i dont think is will be used as of right now.

Ya we had one before this one, it was hacked due to the bad security and other things. That has been fixed tho.
I still don't see how people say that the shoutbox was never used. It was used frequently actually... Although I will say that for security purposes the shoutbox should be left out.
Lets get the shoutbox then.
I agree with S9, we shouldn't have one due to security, any type of older plug-in could be possibly hacked. (Happened to HackForums)
Its not even because it is older. It's just a security risk period. That was a bit of info I received from Omni himself!

Yes. And also if you would have an AJAX one, it would also be recourse intensive as the site grows. I think it is better not to have one. After all, this is a forum. We don't want to turn it into a chatroom.
